Vans with PUMA 2.2 HDi / TDCi engines have pistons with different compression heights . Different connecting rod lengths are also related to this. Specifically, the connecting rod OM0031 with 117 mm length is suitable for piston PM001200 with compression height 43.42 mm , while the shorter connecting rod OM0034 with 112 mm length is for pistons PM004700 and PM005800 with compression height 48.42 mm . The same applies to their oversized variants. Before ordering the pistons, we therefore recommend that you check the engine code , or accurately measure the required part. If you aren’t sure, prepare your VIN code and contact us .
For these pistons, we provide universal piston rings (in a set of 3 rings with 2 mm height) ET Engineteam R1006900 in standard size for cylinder bore 86 mm and ET Engineteam R1006950 in +0.5 mm repair size.
