We have added new items into our range of products – timing chain kits for operating camshafts and oil pumps. Components are sold individually or in practical kits for repairs done by a specialist. Use our eshop to find the correct kit suitable for your engine.
Universal Timing chain kit RS0049 for camshafts of Skoda, Volkswagen, Audi and Seat cars with engines 1,4TSi and 1,6FSi
With the help of the timing chain, the engine’s valves open and close according to proper timing, therefore it is necessary to use VVT Hub (Variable valve timing). This helps to achieve the most optimal performance depending on variable engine speeds. This kit DOES NOT contain small double-row crankshaft gear wheel which ensures camshaft and oil pump drive. They are different options of gear wheels for each engine. They can be purchased individually or in practical oil pump drive kits.
Timing chain kits for oil pump drive
RS0047 – double-row gear wheel with 18/18 teeth for crankshaft is included. One row handles the camshaft timing and the other drives the Morse chain of the oil pump. Tensioner is also included in the kit.
RS0048 - double-row gear wheel with 18/18 teeth for crankshaft is included. This gear wheel also handles the camshaft and oil pump timing. A modified gear wheel is part of the kit because the oil pump is driven by a regular roller chain. Tensioner is also included in the kit.
RS0051 – a double-row gear wheel with 23/18 teeth handles the correct timing in this kit. Morse chain is used for oil pump drive. Tensioner is also included in the kit.
Universal oil pump
Oil pump PU0099. In comparison to the OE part, this pump is supplied without the attached oilpump gear wheel. The oil pump gear wheel can be bought individually based on the type of your engine or the type of the used chain. Use RG0003 (29 teeth) for Morse chain and RG0004 (30 teeth) for regular roller chain. A bolt for the attachment of the gear wheel is supplied with the pump.
