In ET ENGINETEAM you will now find new main and connecting rod bearings. If your bearings are damaged or the crankshaft is seized, it is necessary to replace the bearings and the crankshaft must be ground to the required size. That's why we supply bearings in both the original sizes (standard sizes) and the repair sizes (+0.25 and + 0.50 mm).
There are many reasons why bearing wear may occur, and the problem is usually not with the bearings themselves.
The common problems and causes are:
- Too high temperature
- Excessive load on the edges
- Dirt
- Large pin radius
- Bearing surface wear
- Bearing corrosion
- Insufficient lubrication
- Scratches from foreign bodies
- Incorrect axial allignment
