In the new ET Engineteam product line you will find the first items in the range of filters for Haldex clutches. Simplified working principle of the Haldex clutch - it connects both axles on the vehicle. As long as the wheels are all spinning at the same speed, the Haldex clutch does not engage. If one of the wheels slips, the piston in the Haldex clutch compresses the oil and equalizes the speed of all wheels.
Oil change intervals are important. It is usually every 60,000 km, but if the vehicle doesn't drive too many miles per year, it is recommended to change the oil every 3 years. Some Haldex clutches also contain a filter, which you can now find in ET range as well. Below you can see a small introduction to these Haldex clutch filters.
